Consider/Discuss/Action on Resolution No. 2026-08-14 approving and ratifying a Real Estate Sales Contract and Leaseback Agreement between William Bentley Powell for the acquisition of approximately 5.115 acres of real property comprising in the City of Anna for a purchase price of $2,339,498.70, including a temporary post-closing leaseback and related right-of-way dedications at Rosamond and Interurban Street; and authorizing the Board President or Vice President, the Economic Development Director to execute closing and related documents and take all actions necessary to consummate and administer the transaction. Consider/Discuss/Action on Resolution No. 2026-08-15 approving (1) a Chapter 380 Impact Fee Payment Deferral Agreement between the City of Anna, Texas, and GTP Food Group, LLC, including the Anna Community Development Corporation's limited acknowledgment thereof, and (2) a Second Amendment to Ground Lease Purchase Agreement and Performance Agreement between the Anna Economic Development Corporation and GTP Food Group, LLC, each relating to the GTP Food Group restaurant and entertainment project in the Anna Downtown District; and authorizing the Board President or Vice President to execute the documents and take related actions.   11. Deliberate regarding the purchase, exchange, lease or value of real property. (Tex. Gov’t Code §551.072) possible property acquisition; possible land sale/purchase.
  12. Discuss or deliberate Economic Development Negotiations: (1) To discuss or deliberate regarding commercial or financial information that the Board of Directors has received from a business prospect that the Board of Directors seeks to have locate, stay, or expand in or near the territory of the City of Anna and with which the Board is conducting economic development negotiations; or, (2) To deliberate the offer of a financial or other incentive to a business prospect described by subdivision (1). (Tex. Gov’t Code §551.087); potential retail and medical projects.
  13. Reconvene into open session and take any action on closed session items.
  14. Receive reports from staff or Board Members about items of community interest.
  15. Adjourn.
